Review: At first I was relunctant to watch this drama but thank goodness I did! This drama has to be one of my favorites! It was funny and cute with its touching moments. I thought this was a very happy drama and rather cliche. But it was still good. :] It was very sweet and I just love Ariel Lin. Really not much to say about this drama, just that you should totally watch it. :]

Rainie's Drama Diary
Day One- I've only heard great reviews on ISWAK and how it's "the best" so I decided to check it out. I'm not ready to finish ToGetHer yet so I'm just going have that linger before finishing the last few episodes. Well, the first thing I noticed was that I did not like the opening theme song. Why does that matter you ask? (Or you're saying "you ISWAK HATER" :P) Well the majority of the people who said that they loved ISWAK, said that they loved the song. So yeahhh. I'm starting to doubt but I'll keep going. The main character, Xiang Qin, is pretty cute. She might lack intelligent and smartness but I think she makes up for it. Anyways, I watched to episode 5 today. It's really cute (in that cliche way) and has its humor. The mother though is awesome. She's so cute that it's hilarious. Their school uniforms are adorable in my opinion. I've always wanted to wear uniforms to school, it would just make me feel smarter. And whoah, Asian guy with dreadlocks. Such randomness.
Day Two - Episodes 6 -7 were super cute. Congrads to F class! And poor Jiro (Ah Jin?? I don't remember his character's name so I shall just call him Jiro. Same thing with Tiffany Hsu's character. XD) He's so dedicated and in love with Xing Qin. And I never knew Tennis could be that dangerous! (JK) And the pervert scenes bother me. No, let me rephrase that. IT DISGUSTS ME! Kudos for Ariel Lin for putting up for that. (If she had a double [that's what I would have done] then kudos for the double.) I'm angry that she didn't beat the sh*t out of them. That's what I would have done. I think
Day Three- Watched episodes 8-11 and my whole opinion of this drama has changed. The song isn't annoying anymore (it's kinda rubbing off!) and the whole story is adorable. The characters are cute, in that total cliche way. I'm still waiting for the climax and hopfully it's building up.
Day Four- Watched episodes 12-14 today. Ahh Ah Jin. He's so head over heels in love with Xing Qin. Zhi Shu (is that the lead male's name?) likes Xing Qin and is so cute when he's jealous. Ahh, the chase scene is my favorite part so far. :] I LOVE how he grabs Zhi Shu and leaves Tiffany. But that part made me tear up out of happiness... How strange. Anyways, episode 13 was adorable. :] She got to go on a date with Zhi Shu. Yay! Aww, she thought that he was confessing to her but really he was talking about living with each other. Or maybe it was just a confession in disguise. ;] LOL, the anime/manga club made her the lead female in their manga. (Or Man Hua..whatever.) Awww, the puppy is adorable. Her friends are honest in a b*tchy way. Just saying.
Day Five- Watched episodes 15-17 and this drama is officially tied with Autumn's Concerto and Hi My Sweetheart for my favorite drama. It's so cute that it makes up for the intense moments that make you cry. A lot of people actually think that Ariel Lin was bad for the part but I have to disagree. I think she's perfect. This drama is just so adorable though. Hopefully some intense tear jerking moments are yet to come but if not, I'm fine with more cute moments and giggles. The restraunt uniforms are cute though. :] Stupid that they can't package and take home.
Day Six- Episodes 18-20 today and it keeps on getting better and better. Yay, Aaron (Fahrenheit) appears. :] I've been waiting... (HAHAHA) LOL the workers are funny with their attempts of secuding Zhi Shu. Aw, Aaron looks so young! I hope this drama is near the end because it's been lagging in the past two episodes. Still cute, but lagging.
Days Six & Seven- Watched episodes 18-24. Yay, they're finally getting closer. ^_^ Six more episodes I believe and it's over. On to They Kiss Again! Haha, for me, most likely not. I still have to finish some other dramas I started.
Day Eight- Wow, I just finished 25-26. Only four more episodes and ISWAK is done. :/ I really enjoyed this drama and understand why people liked it. It's cute yet funny. Poor Ah Jin though, she's kind of leading him on. A lot. But wow, Jiro Wang looks so different after watching ToGetHer. He looks different in Mo Mo Love too I think. It must be the hair. Sucks for Xing Qin though, Tiffany Hsu and the girl who played Anna from Fated To Love You. Haha, wow. Both girls who play "the other girl" in other dramas.
Day Nine- Episodes 27-28 today, Xing Qin has a great father. He really cares about her and her feelings. Zhi Shu is so rude. Ugh. He's only trying to convince himself that he doesn't like Xing Qin. Only a really stubborn person can hurt other's feeling to not admit their own. Poor poor Ah Jin. I feel so sorry for him. Heard he finds another girl though in They Kiss Again. Yay. ^_^ But still, in this season I just want to give him a big hug. And take him away. JK. Xing Qin shouldn't lead him on though! If she doesn't like Ah Jin she should just go find someone else. It doesn't have to be she can either wait for Zhi Shu or be with Ah Jin. Anyways, when Zhi Shu appeared next to Xing Qin all wet, she was just like staring at him. Haha, an illusion. Can't wait for episode 29 and then 30!
Day Ten- Episode 29 but I forgot to blog. My apologies...
Day Eleven- Sigh. Last episode. The final episode. Episode 30 everybody. There must be something wrong with me because after I finish a drama, movie, novel or book/manga series, I feel depressed. That's when sequels come in handy for me. ;] Anyways, the beginning was already very touching. Poor Ah Jin. The rest of the drama was very cute. :] Very happy. Xing Qin has been waiting so long for this. :] The wedding was amusing and very cute. Set in a meaningful yet odd setting though. Honestly, the whole cross dressing was odd and totally Xing Qin. Can't believe Zhi Shu agreed though. (Hahaha) Seeing the guys in the gowns though makes ISWAK as amazing as it it. A rainy wedding too, dunno if that's perfect or a disaster... my vote's on perfect. Him kissing her when she's asleep is cute yet kinda creepy. Augh. I got all teary at the end of the drama. Sigh. Amazing.
